An unspoiled, off-beaten trail which hasn’t been long since it’s opened for the trekking enthusiasts, Mardi Himal is located just east to the most famous Annapurna trekking trail.

This amazing trek starts from the enchanting city Pokhara and offer the typical local cultures and traditions with the spectacular views of the remote landscapes and the snow-capped mountains. The tempting river and waterfalls, terraced fields and rolling hills lies on the way to welcome all to the land of paradise. Mardi Himal base camp and Sidhing village are the major attractions of this trek.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m

Day 02: Preparation day and optional sightseeing in Kathmandu

Day 03: Drive to Pokhara

Day 04: Trek to Dhampus or Pothana or Deurali

Day 05: Trek to Forest Camp (2,600m)

Day 06: Trek to Low camp 3150m

Day 07: Trek to High camp 3700m

Day 08: Trek to Mardi Himal base camp 4500m

Day 09: Trek to Sidhing village 1750m

Day 10: Trek to Lumre and drive to Pokhara

Day 11: Drive back to Kathmandu

Detail Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m
Sherpa Royal Trek & Expedition Team will be welcoming you on arrival at Tribhuwan International airport in Kathmandu, transfer to the Hotel and brief meeting over the welcome dinner.

Day 02 : Preparation day and optional sightseeing in Kathmandu
The day to get all the necessary permits and get all the stuffs packed. Kathmandu valley has a lot of attractions to offer the visitors if they are interested to visit.

Day 03 : Drive to Pokhara
6 to 8 hours of driving to Pokhara from Kathmandru, rest of the day leisure for sightseeing around and enjoying the time next to the coolest Fewa lake.

Day 04 : Trek to Dhampus or Pothana or Deurali
After driving to Phedi, we begin the wonderful journey. The trail halfway until Dhampus and Australian Camp is a bit steep while it get pleasant afterwards until we arrive at Deurali for the night stop.

Day 05 : Trek to Forest Camp (2,600m)
Today, we commence our trek uphill through the jungle and eventually to get to the ridges of Forest camp. Overnight at a simple teahouse lodge.

Day 06 : Trek to Low camp 3150m
From forest camp to low Camp is only a short day trekking through more jungles with occasional glimpses of Annapurna South. Overnight in teahouse lodge.

Day 07 : Trek to High camp 3700m
An hour or so above Low Camp the trail breaks out above tree line forthe good views of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. The trail continues along the Mardi Himal ridge and the thin rhododendron bushes. Look out for the national bird of Nepal, colorful pheasant, Danfe which you might see if get lucky.

Day 08 : Trek to Mardi Himal base camp 4500m
Quite a long day since you will walk along the ridges to get to Mardi Himal base camp and the similar time taken to get back to the High camp for the overnight stop.

Day 09 : Trek to Sidhing village 1750m
Walking down to the Sidhing, a traditional Nepali village and staying with the locals is the schedule for the day. Overnight at either home-stay or teahouse lodge depending upon the availability.

Day 10 : Trek to Lumre and drive to Pokhara
Passing through the villages of Kalimati and Ghalel, we will arrive at Lumre to find our vehicle waiting for us to drive us back to Pokhara for the overnight stay.

Day 11 : Drive back to Kathmandu
Time to get back to Kathmandu on the deluxe tourist bus. During rest of the day, one can do leisurely activities and also go for souvenir shopping.

Day 12 : International Departure
Departure to the home country.

The groups safety is very important for us. Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns. Even though every effort is made to go as planned, a little change might occur in the itinerary because of weather conditions, health condition of a person, unexpected natural disasters, etc. The leader will try to ensure the trip runs as planned, but please be prepared to be flexible just in case.
