Manaslu Larke pass trekking is another popular trekking destination in Manaslu region. This is one of the short and amazing trekking trips as you will have an opportunity to explore around Manaslu (8,163 m.) the eight highest peaks in the world, located at Nepal and Tibet border and also have an opportunity to pass through the snow-capped peaks called Larke pass (5,420 m.), from where you will have range of mountains located in Manaslu and Annapurna region.

Trekking to Manaslu region was opened in 1992 for outsiders primarily for having trekking and any other sorts of tourism activities. Since then, the trekking to Manaslu, along with Larke pass region has been popular primarily for having incredible scenes of the unique landscapes, natural wonders of snow-capped and rocky hills, have awesome views of range of mountains located in the Manaslu region. The term Manaslu means the spirit mountain which stands to be benevolent and strong deity in the local dialect. The trekking to Manaslu Larke pass trekking offers you a range of awesome views of the majestic mountains. You will also be amazed with the blend of culture, unique rituals, and lifestyles of diverse ethnic groups living along the trail passes through the snow-capped peaks, glaciers; these are self-explanatory, why Manaslu region trekking is the loved and demanded trekking. Manaslu, Larke pass trekking begins with drive from Kathmandu to Gorkha and then the trail continues through the picturesque valley and alongside of Larke  pass (5,420 m.) and it finally takes you to Mt. Manaslu area and after having a complete excursion all around, the trail takes you back along the Annapurna classic trekking routes to Besisahar and then you will catch a private or public bus and return back to Kathmandu.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu via respective airlines.

Day 02: Preparation day in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive to Soti Khola 730 m via Arughat 600m – 07 hrs.

Day 04: Trek to Machha khola 930m – 06 hrs.

Day 05: Trek to Jagat 1,410m – 06 hrs.

Day 06: Trek to Dyang 1,800 m – 06 hrs.

Day 07: Trek to Namrung 2,630 m – 04 hrs via Ghap 2,160 m – 06 hrs

Day 08: Trek to Syala

Day 09: Trek to Samagaon 3,530 m – 05 hrs

Day 10: Samagaon for acclimatization.

Day 11: Trek to Samdo 3,860 m – 05 hrs

Day 12: Trek to Dharamsala / Larke phedi 4,460 m – 05 hrs

Day 13: Cross Larke la 5,214m and to Bimtang 3,720 m – 08 hrs.

Day 14: Trek to Tilche.

Day 15: Trek to Dharapani 1,860 m – 05 hrs.

Day 16: Drive to Beshisahar

Day 17: Drive back to Kathmandu – 07 hrs.

Day 18: International Departure.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrival in Kathmandu 1350m
On arrival at Kathmandu international airport, Nepal Adventure Team staffs will receive you with a warm welcome and then transfer to respective hotels in the hub of Kathmandu around the interesting area of Thamel. Brief meeting over the welcome dinner.

Day 02 : Fly to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Phakding 2,640m
35 minutes flight with incredible views of snow capped mountains with a glimpse of Everest as the plane lands at Lukla. After a refreshing break, follow our expert guide as the walk leads downhill and on gradual winding trail passing several nice Sherpa traditional villages to reach our first overnight stop at Phakding village by the glacial river Dudh Koshi.

Day 03 : Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440m
The day to enter Sagarmatha National Park and ultimately to the last alpine town, Namche for acclimatization.

Day 04 : Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization and excursion
The last place with modern facilities of ATM, Banks, post office, Cyber Café, Trekking / Climbing shops and stores with many café, bakeries and restaurants. Go for the local excursion to explore.

Day 05 : Trek to Thyangboche 3,867m
The nice walk today offers great views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamasarku and Kwangde peak. The second half of the journey leads to an uphill through pristine forest to reach Thyangboche Monastery. A scenic spot with amazing views of Amadablam, Kangtenga, Thamasarku, Kwangde with Mt. Everest, Thyangboche a holy spot as the head lama (Rinpoche) resides in this monastery, where trekkers and mountaineers visits to get blessed from the priest for safe trek and expeditions.

Day 06 : Trek to Khumjung
Your trail will continue to Khumjung through the fir forest along the Dudhkoshi River to finally arrive at Khumjung, a valley surrounded by the snowy peaks of Kondge, Thamserku and the sacred Khumbila Peak.

Day 07 : Trek back to Lukla
Retrace the journey back to Monjo near the Sagarmatha National Park entrance and exit, walk leads downhill to Dudh Kosi River to go all the way to Lukla via Phakding.

Day 08 : Fly back to Kathmandu
Yet another scenic flight to Kathmandu. Rest of the day leisure for shopping and market browsing. Farewell dinner is on the house.

Day 09 : International Departure
Your last day in amazing Nepal. As per international flight time, our staff will transfer you to international airport for your flight back home
